Heh, I really love to see our...Umlauts(?) used in other languages...they enhance any letter you stick them to. Ätomic Warfäre for example *chuckles*
Gorgeous Video btw, they don´t produce things like that anymore...

They don't make 'em like that anymore. I'd love to see a feature on Hear N' Aid. They could probably have cured world hunger with all the cheese floating around the studio afterwards.

"Being identified by an evil, Robocop-helmet-wearin' queen and her crystal-powered supercomputer? I'm sorry, but that pretty much trumps all band introductions past, present and future."

I feel the one at the end of Guns'n'Roses "You could be mine" video is at least on par.

That video had everything! Holy crap, I never really was much of a Queensr˙che fan growing up (I was more in to Cinderella and Poison... that is, until I discovered Metallica and Megadeth). But now, I'm a fan for life. Damn I miss MTV.

I never really knew how I felt about Queensryche. My older brother really like them a lot so I could tolerate and there is some material that I enjoy. I was about 7 when operation mindcrime came out, so I really didn't understand it until I listened to it a few years back when I inherated a plethera of CD's.

As far as MTV goes it's pretty much a mute point. I remember reading that they basicaly moved away from the videos because they didn't get the ratings that the shitty shows got. I will say though when Puck stuck his finger in the peanut butter....classic TV moment.

I had a friend that worked for Folkway Records (smithsonian record label) who turned me on to the following video. The Director of Folkway Records was in the band or something like that. I think Thomas Dolby ripped them off.

I love how the band (who have laser guns for gods sake) just allow those slow moving monsters to capture them.

I love this song, yet never seen that video before. I miss the 80's.

Gonna see Queensryche in August...can't wait.

haha I have all their albums ( legally acquired of course...). I think the singer sucks though but they have some pretty sweet songs still!

Nice use of deflated sumo suits to create the lamest space monsters ever.

The only thing I remeber about Grim Reaper is that they had a video on Bevis & Buthead and it was the most painful thing to listen too.

Dude, if you're making this a regular feature, you have to do Manowar's Gloves Of Metal.

Yeah, it's a hell of a good song, just not a great video other than the unintentional hilarity of it all.

Pox, how can you say Geoff Tate (the singer) sucks? He's always been one of the more celebrated progressive metal vocalists. Check out some more of their songs and maybe you'll change your mind. Just don't listen to any albums after Promised Land... that was the last good album they really had and one I've listened to countless times. They're no longer in their prime now.

Grislygus, hehe alrighty, I'll be sure to look into Grim Reaper.

PolarisSLBM, gotta love Manowar... always ridiculously over the top.

I love Queensryche; Operation Mindcrime is an old favorite. And yes, the Queen of the Reich video sucks, but it's an amazing song.

And Manowar was mentioned, which has never been a bad thing.

I never knew RoG was so metal. ^m^

I saw queensryche live last night in the UK and, even though they played one of my favourite albums ever, they never played queen of the ryche! They were fucking awesome anyway!

Heheh, I don't think they play that song anymore because Tate probably can't hit that high note anymore.

I finally saw Queensryche few weeks ago and they were unbelievable! Tate still sounds great and I got to meet the band after the gig. I just about lost my mind when they played the opening notes to I Don't Believe In Love. I never have and I never will.
