Seeing how I live in H-Town, Imma pick some of this shit up when I see it.

I like how they are trying to use the popularity of purple(pain medicine) to market to people, especially kids under 21.

Purple drank typically includes promethazine-codeine cough syrup which produces a stoned sedation. Promethazine is an antihistamine while codeine is an opiate narcotic.Whow that sounds like a trippy drink. i don't know if i should drink it or inject it into my veins. :lol

From design to production, every aspect of this calming drink was inspired by today’s popular hip hop artists who embrace the much sought-after hip hop lifestyle that encourages people to capture a stress-free state of mind.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Better yet they should use DJ Screw, Big Moe, and Pimp C to hawk their drank. Oh wait...

EDIT: Also, i'm sure Indo G would love to have them use this song in their commercials:

Knowing your lawsystem, it shouldn't take too long before the first lawsuit against Drank for being responsible of a fatal accident is filed.

Lawsystem sound like a word a foreigner would use.

What exactly would cause a fatal accident? You do know that there are no pharmaceuticals in this beverage, right?

pac-man
Jun 9th, 2008, 06:22 PM
I guess he's referring to the outside chance somebody falls asleep at the wheel after drinking it.

I'm not saying Drank would be the reason for the accident, but all the retarded people could claim it to be the reason. With accidents I mean for example falling asleep while driving or becoming generally more accident-prone with tools etc.

executioneer
Jun 10th, 2008, 05:03 AM
thats why they'll put a nice disclaimer on it removing them from liability if people do stupid shit like that

I don't know about that. Its been well-established for years that Benadryl causes drowsiness, but you don't hear about people claiming that it caused an accident and suing about it.

Chojin

That's because it's a side effect and not an advertised theme of the product.

Yeah, but Benadryl is marketed under the name of "Sominex" as a sleep aid as well, with drowsiness as the advertised theme of the product.

would you like to make a bet on whether or not tyrone will drink a 6-pack of these and then drive through the window of a hair extensions shop? and then someone's lawyer gon' get CALLED, mm hmm? :gyrate

I'm sure they have already thought about lawsuits and have loopholes in place. If they haven't then they deserve to be sued and shut down.

MattJack

Didn't do anything to me really. Well, besides leave a lingering piss taste in my mouth. I think it's a bunch of bollocks

I hate the irregularity and regional inconsistencies in English for the preterite and past participle forms of "to drink". "He's drunk because he drank too much alcohol." -"How much had he drunk?" -"Enough to be drunken." UGH.

MattJack
Jun 20th, 2008, 03:27 PM
I just use "drank" a lot in everyday language

why?

cause i'm from the south, which means i'm uneducated

How does that stuff taste? I'm curious but don't want to try it if it's just overpriced Dimetapp.

"Slow your roll"? I'm sorry but what does that even mean? Guess I'm just dumb :( And it's says "relaxed energy" haha

WhiteRat

Of course it's not as good. It's Drank for Zeus' sake, it's the ANTI-energy drink. A drink so bold and original it has to mimic a codeine laced drink to suck the kiddies in.
