Maybe his is the perfect moment for me to go out and look for some quality comics to begin my habit of reading them again.

It does sound very compelling and I've always looked for a good excuse to pick up some serious comic books (graphic novels? What's the respectful term?).

Huh!?

Did anybody ever read that horror anthology called Flinch Vertigo put out awhile back? I'm kinda curious as to if it was any good.

I love anthologies. This is the stuff I look for in comic books, something not too linear and completely devoid of bizarro worlds, infinite crises, and all those idiotic last ditch shark jumping plot twists.

I had no idea that this series was out. I think I'll have to run down to the comic shop and pick it up.

Yeah, this is definitely a good new Vertigo series to jump into, guys. And it's still early enough to get in on a good thing at the ground floor.

And Huh!?, I'm afraid I never did read Flinch so I can't vouch for its quality.

I really want to check this one out, but I doubt I'll be able to until the first trade comes out.

Is this based on the Sandman comic at all?

I clearly remember a tavern that a character was using for refuge from a weird storm, full of denizens of various dimensions, and them all trading stories.

I'll definitely have to look this up next time I'm at the comic book store.

Man, just as I was getting my DC Horror Comic fix from the Showcase Presents reprints. I'll have to scan this later.

Yeah, the World's End Tavern. I remember that Sandman arc said there were several "Free Houses" like that out there, so this could be one of them. It doesn't appear to be related to Cain's House of Mystery in the Dreaming either so far, but there might be a connection revealed later.
