My dad said that it was punishment for passing Prop 8.
Sorry about the flamers guys.
I, on the other hand, am in Pittsburgh which doesn't get natural anything.
Seriously though, hope everyone's alright. Were the fires put out yet?

Oh dear. I recommend going to the bathroom and taking a nice shower. Or smothering yourself in a heavy towel.

Good thing I am in the northern part of California, where god isn't punishing the sinners.

Just posted a photo in the blog taken on our rooftop so you can see all the smoke that's currently smothering the city. Take a look:

I drove through this ridiculous smoke yesterday :(
and we stopped in pasadena to get something to eat and some old lady dressed in some type of rock star type light purple sweaterand nice clothes came up and asked us for ten dollars so that she could buy a sweater ;/ then her eyes got all shifty and she said something like ILL GO GET IT IF THE PLACE IS STILL OPEN (it probaby wasn't)and on the otherside of the parking lot there was somebody who totally looked like a crackhead ;/
we left pretty much before she even finished talking

Isn't that what L/A looks like normally though?

Normally, the smog is higher up in the air.

I live in Chino and as I drove to my girlfriend's, I could see smoke and light billowing up from a hill not more than 5-6 miles away. Brea Canyon pass was finally put out and I could drive through it today. The ground was still smoldering as I passed by.
