What does the octopus look like? I think I would value that more than Home Movies, HEARTLESS BUTTHOLE! Anyway, I love homemade stuff. I got a quilt last year from my then-girlfriend's mom. Good gift.

Also I think I'm getting money from my dad, and my sister told me to choose something so I told her to get me a road atlas.

Anything I get has to be small enough to fit in my suitcase after it's already full of clothes, or will be left in storage for at least 8 months (and maybe much longer) before I get to use it.

I'm betting on CDs, maybe clothes, and pretty much nothing else.

for...uh....Christmas....

I got some cool stuff....hockey pullover (http://shop.nhl.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3312191&cp=3176478&clickid=body_bestsell_img), special edition St. Patrick's day puck (green rubber) (http://shop.nhl.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3010876&cp=3233107&clickid=body_bestsell_img), Joey Ramone action figure, Tiddy Bear, some scratch-off lottery tickets (won $3), a Starbucks Tel Aviv sweatshirt (http://www.judaism.com/display.asp?etn=FHAGA), and a popcorn popper, among other things.

I was po' so most of what I gave others was labor-intensive instead of expensive. I had a professional frame-maker make the bf a custom display case for his guitar pick collection, that was my big expenditure.

Edit: the dog made out like a bandit, everyone got her tons of stuff....I think she got more presents than anyone (http://www.moochieandco.com/moochie/product.asp?s_id=0&prod_name=Donut+Toy&pf_id=PAAAIANKHCIBDLEI&dept_id=3056).

My girlfriend gave me The Louis Theroux Collection

If you like that you should check out his book, The Call of the Weird. It's about him going back to the US and finding how what happened to all the people he met in the first series of Weird Weekends. It's well written and quite funny too.

Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th the series (their italics, not mine) are two very, very, very different things.

I was not a big fan of the latter, apart from the episode where they got the adults trapped in the fantasy playhouse.

At around 8:40am I got woken up by my girlfriend in the way I think every man would want to be woken up; then laid in bed watching A Christmas Story while eating a bagel sandwich and sharing a box of assorted dipped strawberries she got from work. Presents won't really be opened till we get to my parents, but I decided to give one of hers this morning, which was a snazzy new digital camera she has been wanting.

Although she said she has something really good for me, I'm not expecting much. The gift stuff is mainly for the younger ones.

Yeah, I get spoiled rotten every year. I honestly try to avoid it by only listing a few items when my mom asks for a list every year, but it doesn't make a difference because she just buys stuff that she thinks I'll like (masters of horror season 2).

One of my sisters was a real cunt this morning because I got a lot of smaller, less expensive presents, while she had fewer, very expensive ones. Sat there with this bitchy face and kept making snide comments all fucking morning.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Y'ALL!

Not much. A bit of money which will be spent on my next electricity bill, a couple of books, a CD (Mogwai - The Hawk is Howling which is fantastic) a couple DVDs (Peepshow series 5 and Bill Bailey: Tinsel Worm), a new watch that doesn't have a broken strap and a new Forman grill to replace the disgusting one with no non-stick coating that we currently have.

Gone.

It was nice to have my groceries paid for anyway.
