March Madness is only 19 days away and i'm bored right now, so I created the I-Mockery Bracket Brunch group on Yahoo. Everyone is welcome to watch their bracket blow up in their face as well as ridicule those who are suffering 3rd degree burns on 80% of their body due to picking Weber State to win it all.

I actually just made an official March Madness thread to talk of the games themselves. So like White Rat said, use this thread to be Bracket Guy. Activities of Bracket Guy may include, but are not limited to:

-Complaining how team X screwed you by losing in that upset
-Repeatedly telling us how many final four picks you have left
-tearing apart other people's picks
-telling us exactly what you need to happen to win it all

I think knowing too much about basketball can screw you over. I've got friends who spend two hours making their brackets because they try to factor in past team performances, hot and cold streaks, player injuries, etc. I'm all "hey man the higher seeds are better than lower seeds" and then I pick a few random times when that won't be the case and then I sit back and scream at teams I've never heard of before. :picklehat

I saw Darryl Dawkins do exactly this at crunch time in what I believe was a playoff game. If I wasn't a Sixer fan, it would have been fuckin' hilarious. As it was it pissed me off for weeks.

The image of the referee blowing his whistle and pointing at "Chocolate Thunder's" shoe (and of Darryl's facial expression :confused) is permanently etched in my brain. :lol
