Wellllll, I've never shaved my own back, but perhaps plucking it instead of shaving would be more beneficial. You don't really want back stubble, do you?

lotion or something that will help it heal? I don't know.

Speaking of personal grooming HAIRBRUSHES VS COMB WHO WINS?

Did you shave the whole of your back? Or just the small of your back?

Put cream on it for now, and if you keep shaving, you'll get better at it. Or buy hair removal cream. It should be lots easier.

Be a pro and get a gf to do it for you.

Regular, and I don't use shaving cream any more because it makes me infected.

i use a lectric to keep the beard trimmed and when i'm not full-bearding i use a regular three-blade razor for the non-beard parts

Just get a gf or family member to wax your back for you. I've never waxed anything in my life(besides dat ass :golfswing), but that's what I'd do I guess :\

Yeah, I think it's counterintuitive to shave your own back. I thank my lucky stars that I don't have back hair.

i usually let it go in the winter. in the summer it just plain sucks for multiple reasons. i don't really shave it, i just sorta trim it till it's down to stubble with my electric beard trimmer.

For glandular reasons i am relatively hairless. I have to shave my face every couple of days to keep from having mexican-teenager facial hair. :(. I use the cheapest razors they make.

Regular, and I don't use shaving cream any more because it makes me infected.

It isn't the shave cream that's giving you infections, its bacteria on your face and on your razor. Try using a skin toner first and maybe putting a little rubbing alcohol on the razor before you shave to kill any bacteria on it.

thx for da tips.

I don't cut myself at all, either way, so I dunno what the point in shaving cream was.

Less irritation and shaving bumps.

For those of you with excessive body hair:

Yes, it hurts like a motherfucker. But it works.

I had a shave today and I look like a twat now. I used a three blade razor with peppermint scented face cream stuff. I look weird without at least a bit of stubble, and my chin is now coated in small red dots.

Who the fuck cares? Nobody. I miss my ex-girlfriend.

I don't have back hair. And I don't need to shave that often BUT WHEN I DO I use a regular razor and soap. Electric razors irritate.

Jeanette it's nice to know you have enough body hair for both of us but I don't need to be constantly reminded :x

Well I don't like being constantly reminded about it every evening when I rip the hair from my upper lip with tweezers, so you can suffer with me. >:

Nair burns my delicate skin. And as for shaving, well, the instant I slash, it starts to grow back. Plucking lasts longer.

I just use an electric razor on my face and a regular razor elsewhere.

the woman who's in the guiness book of world records for the longest beard lives in my town :O at first you think he's just a guy with a woman voice, but nope...

and i know what you mean about shaving, zhukov. When I used to shave my "beard" off I would be left looking at like this tiny looking chin and I always thought I looked like a doofus/irish farmer. I think it's just shock :O itll wear off.

Why not wax?

As a real man I have hair all over. I found the solution to this problem is hook up with an Italian woman that thinks a harry man is a sexy man. ;)

As for maintanence... I use an electric beard trimmer to keep my beard from going all Afghani on me and a 3 blade to keep the upper part of the cheeks baby smooth.

However if I was going to actually shave off my beard I wouldnt be a pussy and use cream or anything like that. Hot water and a razor is all you need.

Why not wax?

1. Getting it done at a salon is effective, but highly expensive. :\

2. Doing it myself makes me scream in agony. :x Also, I can't really see the backs of my legs all that well, so I end up with patches. And the strip doesn't always take the all the hair off.
