Mock Wars 2009?

Who here would be interested in doing this? Our community today is actually a lot more like the one we had back 'when', and doing it this year would keep up the biannual trend we've established from the first two tournaments.

We have myself, Max Burbank, Tadao, Esuohlim, and Grislygus - any of whom I think could carry it on their own - but I'd like to know what the rest of you guys think. We're not as active a forum as we once were.

So to recap: Is this a good idea to run again this year?

Can't say I'll be participating if you guys do it, just not that interested in the old mock wars anymore in general. Think they're best left in the past, but if you guys are doing 'em, I'll try to pitch in and help judge the battles at least.

Just 2007 because it was still somewhat relevant to when I started reading here. I can't remember if it was from ohseven or not but I remember some kids dad dying and Chojin ripping him apart.

On a serious note though, if the funnies come in (at least Choj and Max,) I think it's a good idea, and I'd most definitely be watching it, and likely voting again. Even though Chojin will win. Again. A third time.

Oh GOddamnit, I missed this?! DevilWearsPrada is nowhere to be seen, I think it would be safe to have them now. I doubt a lot of newer posters would give a shit anyway, have a short qualifying round for any new guys and get a 2010 Mock Wars up and running on a fairly quick, simple schedule. It's all for shits and giggles, anyway, most of the fun SHOULD be in the commentary threads
