It's nice to see how they are still making games that doesn't have to be visually realistic (and thus, expensive) in order to be fun. Too bad I'm a Mac user.

I saw this on steam and wasn't sure, I guess I'll give it a try!

"Let me preface this review by saying I'm a huge fan of tower defense games. I love how they're completely addictive, yet you don't need to spend 2-4 hours playing them per day just to make progress. You can get in a few quick games here 'n there and then get back to whatever you were doing."
I find this totally ironic, because the reason I hate tower defence games is that I suck so much at them that it does take 2-4 hours to actually progress, so I never actually been able to learn how to get better at them. And yet I've still considered getting Plants vs. Zombies. That's style, Popcap. You can't buy that kind of style.

Glad you liked it, Rog! After testing it for a year, I got sick of it... Have to load it back on my system and replay that sucker!

I think one of my favorite things about the game, personally, is reading the bio pages for the zombies and plants that you encounter

Julio, it's compatible with PC and Macs, so you can definitely still get it.
Blackdrazon, give this one a shot... I think you'll find it very intuitive and easy to get hooked on. It really is a lot o' fun.
MattyV, hehe yeah I can see how playing any game nonstop like that for a full year would get old. Definitely worth revisiting though!
JJ the Jetplane, oh absolutely. There's so much tongue-in-cheek humor throughout the entire game and those bio pages are a perfect example. Great stuff. You can tell a lot of love went into it.

I'll have to try this game out now that it's been given the official pickle stamp of approval!

The only Tower Defense game I ever played was the mini-game in FFVII, though this sounds fun.
