Henry Gibson? Well, that sucks. I didn't hear about him :(

I just went to listen to some Cramps, every sept 17th I start me Halloween celebration. I remembered a few minutes later that Lux is dead and I'm selfishly pissed off right now.

yeh, the only significant celebrity deaths I've heard about recently were Lux Interior and Les fuckin' Paul.

The world flipped its lid over Michael Jackson and that motherfucker's still on magazine covers, but what did Les Paul get? A little blurb in a sidenote in a Rolling Stone magazine? Whatever.

Also Jimmy Carl Black though I don't know of a single thing he'd done since the 60's.

Janis Joplin wants a word with you, son
She does, does she?
And okay, fine, all famous people who die are inspired by the famous people who died before them, and no idea for dying is original, and all the rest of that tired crap. And of course I acknowledge the influence that the deaths of Sid Vicious, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, and Dylan Thomas had on me. That's a given. But I worked really hard and paid my dues as an artist to get to the point where I could die in a maelstrom of tabloid scrutiny, and I didn't wait until I was fiftysomething years old to do it, either.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't read the article because The Onion is dumb.
