what are some good ps2 games

i've caught up with the times and purchased my most recent game console ever, a ps2. because it was 30$.

over the past 8 or whatever years since it came out i totally remember thinking i'd wanna play some game or another but now i don't remember what any of them were. someone help me out

SSX3 is probably at the tail end of my top 10 games. try it out, even if you're not particularly big on snowboarding. 'cause i'm not.

also if you're looking for platformers, only get the first sly cooper and jak and daxter. two great games that got really boring sequels. dunno about ratchet and clank, i got the first one but i hear that they actually get progressively better.

The Shin Megami Tensei Games (Nocturne/Lucifer´s Call, Digital Devil Saga 1+2 and Devil Summoner. Partially HARD games)

Even though those games require thinking and are not action games, they should be played by everyone ;)

Shadow Hearts 2 is what made me like RPGs again. The characters were interesting and bonkers, plus it wasn't stupidly Japanese.

Okami is the best game I've played for the PS2.

Soul Reaver 2 sucks, but if you haven't played the first--get that.

Shadow Hearts 2 is awesome, indeed.

i got about 20 games so far, okami is one of them. the little beedledeedle noises whenever something is talkin is kinda annoying but i only played it like 5 minutes, oneday i'll give it a real chance.

five minutes of okami isn't even going to get you through the intro. there's a lot of stupid dialogue but the gameplay is great.
