I loved this game through and through. I sort of felt the RTS stuff felt tacked on because, while its fun, it didn't feel like it belonged. I would have been more then happy with an all out 3rd person action game -and a jump button! But other then that all I can really say is that I wish it was longer because I really felt that, even though you can mess around way after the games credits, that it ended far too soon.

I loved the world and I loved the soundtrack -but I've also been a metal head from the womb so while I find it the perfect mix of visuals and sound not many people maybe on the bus with me on that one.

Just a great game though with a lot of love put into it, too bad it did so bad that it pushed Double Fine into making DLC games for the consoles and completely nixed the thought of a sequel.

I guess I'll go on Amazon and see if I can find a used copy cheap and try it out.
Also, each one of those paragraphs are one sentence.

I liked this game but I found it puzzling that they thought heavy metal fans would also be rts fans. Makes no sense at all and the game suffered for it. If this had been just a combat/platformer then it would have sold amazingly well. My theory on this is based on the final boss battle, where instead of doing some stupid stage battle with him where you are too busy rallying troops to face him one on one, you actually (gasp!) fight the boss!

Even though it was one of the weaker boss battles in gaming history it was infinately more satisfying than some of the other "boss battles" in the game where it's RTS.

Great game except the RTS was PAINFUL.

Its true that the game was made for a specific audience, I didnt care for it, but one of my best friends loved it to death. I mean, i thought the open-ness of the game was pretty cool, but the style, comedy, and music werent really my thing. But my friend loved everything about it, so more power to it!

Any game with 3 Inches of Blood in it fits me fine.

Despite it's flaws, I still managed to have a really good time with this game.

I'll have to check this game out. I mean, it's Jack Black. Something with Jack Black in it can't be bad, right?

It's a good review, I just had to ignore the grammatical errors. x___x Damn being an English major.

I would love to see another game with this sort of theme or scenery but be more of an action, brawler, or RPG type game. That's just my taste though.

Good review, however, I am compelled to comment on the grammar. I don't mean to sound like an English teacher. Review commas; a mundane issue but, it no less affects your professionalism.

I have to say this game was a disappointment. I was stoked for it since it was first revealed in a GI cover story but it feels way to rushed. Very short, gameplay is a mixed bag and a lot of repetitive side missions. Coulda been great, but it just isn't.
