So the Browns traded their pick to the Falcons for I am not exactly sure what.

Here's hoping it works out

Viking fans are going apeshit over taking Ponder at 12. I'm really happy we got him but my hope was they took Costanzo or Tyron Smith at 12, dump off McKinnie's fat overpaid ass and THEN take Ponder in the second. I don't think it makes any sense taking him that early.

I found this on Ponder's wiki page a few minutes ago:

I got excited because I thought they went spaceshit. apeshit is still good though. I need to get some glasses.

In other news, the Eagles select an offensive lineman with their first pick. :yawn

Not exciting Colonel, but OL is never a wasted pick IMO

It is when the Eagles pick. Over the past 16 years, they've picked offensive linemen 7 times in the first round, including such luminaries as Kevin Allen, Lester Holmes, Bernard Williams, Jermane Mayberry and most recently Shawn Andrews.

And this 26-year old rookie (who started playing football at 22) has me worried. A lot.

The trenches are the biggest part of the game. You don't have a decent line, you don't have shit.

That's how the Broncos won their first Super Bowl
