So it was just announced that 43 preseason games will be canceled due to the lockout. I honestly thought the NBA would have their shit together by now.

To be fair the NFL got their shit resolved in time for preseason. That the NBA can't accomplish the same thing is actually not good cause the owners and players are willing to lose money over all this.
