YO HO HO HO! WELCOME TO...
http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/secret-santa/secret-santa2013.gif
OFFICIAL SIGN UP THREAD

Christmas is approaching once again and that means one important thing: staying far the hell away from the apocalyptic scenarios at any store that dares to hold a Black Friday sale this month. Aside from that, it's also time for I-Mockery's annual Christmas Secret Santa event! Every year, registered users from the forum community come together to share in the holiday commercialism by buying and sending each other gifts that range from hilarious to just plain awesome. It's tradition, so whether you're a new member or an old one, you should absolutely join in the fun, so be sure to reply to this thread. 10,000 Volt Ghost is running the event this year, so be sure to read the important rules he'll be posting below BEFORE you reply to this thread and sign-up:

10,000 Volt Ghost
Nov 14th, 2013, 02:04 AM
How it works:

You sign up in this thread by stating that you want to join. The last day to sign up is November 24th. Send 10,000 Volt Ghost (http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=7324) a private message with your full mailing address, real name and your forum name/alias. On November 25th, you will receive a PM with the name and address of the person you will be sending your gift to. At this point, you send out your gift before December 7th and get ready to receive a gift of your own! Upon receiving your gift, you must post pictures in this thread to show everyone what you got! It’s not mandatory, but many participants in the past have made a little story out of enjoying their gift(s), so do that if you wanna have extra fun! But at the very least, you need to post photos of what you received. Everyone needs to get pictures of the gifts they received posted by December 22nd.

Everyone has plenty of time to do all of that, so do it!

Special note for those of you who live outside of North America:

You’re more than welcome to participate, but pay special attention to the “how people will be split up” section below.

Rules and Guidelines:
This whole thing is for fun, but there has to be some assurance that everyone will keep up their end of the bargain, so failure to follow the rules and instructions will result in a permanent ban from the forums. Plus, we know Santa pretty well, and he’s assured us that messing up in any way will result in a nice big chunk of coal being rammed up your rectum! :D

Here are some general rules and guidelines everybody should follow:
Spend somewhere between 15-25 bucks (USD) on your gift. This amount does NOT include shipping costs. No one likes a cheapskate, so if this is too much money for you, get a job and join next year instead! Don’t go overboard and get something expensive, but don’t cheap out either. If you want to spend more than 25 bucks, you can, but please understand that you most likely won't receive something of equal monetary value. Then again, that's not what this is all about, so that shouldn't matter to you anyway, Scrooge!
Obey all deadlines. Screwing someone over, especially at Christmas, is a guaranteed ticket to hell! Let’s see if an eternity of torture will help you be punctual!
Before signing up, make sure you have a working camera. If you can’t upload pictures to your computer directly, there are other options such as getting your film developed and put on a CD. Uploading pictures of your gifts is just as important to our Secret Santa event as sending some gifts out is. Remember, if you don't have a camera of your own, your cellphone probably has a working camera and/or you can also buy disposable digital cameras too.
MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE RECEIVING PACKAGES! It’s not hard to find your current address, so don’t fuck it up!
Don’t be cheap and make something. If you have to do that, keep the minimum spending amount in mind and please consider sending other purchased stuff along with your creation as well. It's fine to make something in addition to purchasing gifts for your recipient, just try not to only make stuff as it's hard to put a monetary value on that sort of thing
Your mailing address CANNOT be a P.O. Box. No gifts will be sent to P.O. boxes nor will anyone with a P.O box as a mailing address be allowed to participate in the Secret Santa event.
Again If you fail to uphold your end of the deal, you will be permanently banned from the forums. So please, don't be a dick. We want this event to be fun for everybody.
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PURCHASE GIFTS FROM DOLLAR STORES. We've had too many people get screwed over by cheap gifts at 99cent / dollar general stores, so please do not purchase gifts from them.IF YOU’RE A NEW MEMBER (Registered AND active less than a year)

In an effort to cut down on people who might sign-up just to get free shit, new users need to take the following steps to be eligible to join in the fun:

1. Provide a picture of themselves holding up a hand-written sign that says both "I-MOCKERY SECRET SANTA 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" along with their message forum name/name in plain view.

2. Post this picture in this thread for all to see.

3. PM 10,000 Volt Ghost (http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=7324), informing him that you are a new member who wants to participate in the secret Santa event. He will then send you a letter with a mailing address.

4. Send a test letter to the mailing address that you were provided with by 10,000 Volt Ghost. The letter needs to include your full name, return mailing address and your name here on the I-Mockery forums.

5. To ensure that you’re eligible to participate, do all of that as quickly as possible!

These steps are necessary to verify that you have a working camera and the motivation to get your ass to a post office.

DEADLINES!!!!

-The last day to SIGN UP is SUNDAY, November 24th (watch this thread because if we have an uneven number, we might accept more)

-The last day for SENDING your gifts out is December 7th (deadline was extended to this new date this year since we were a little late sending out Secret Santa assignments)

-The last day for POSTING PICTURES of the gifts you receive is December 22nd (deadline may be extended since sending out Secret Santa assignments has been delayed a bit this year)

MAILING YOUR PACKAGE:

-You MUST send out your gifts by priority or express shipping methods to ensure that everyone receives their gifts in a timely fashion. Someone will be doing this for you, so please do it for someone else.

-You MUST purchase a tracking number for your package so that you can keep track of it if there are any delays.

-Do NOT send a PM or email to the person who you are sending a gift to in an attempt to let them know that you're their Secret Santa. It's called "Secret" Santa for a reason, people. Half of the fun is people being surprised when they learn who their Secret Santa is!

RECEIVING YOUR PACKAGE:

-Post pictures of all the gifts you receive no later than December 22nd. If you want to be funny with it and make a video or pictorial story or something, that’s great, but just make sure you post it all by the 22nd.

-Take pictures of ALL of your gifts. Half of the fun of this event is seeing recipients enjoying their gifts.

-If you don’t have your package and it’s getting close to the deadline for postings pictures, send a PM to 10,000 Volt Ghost so he can see what the delay is.

HOW PEOPLE WILL BE SPLIT UP:

Everyone who participates will be paired randomly with someone to send their gift to, but if certain conditions are met, some switches might have to be made:

Because this event attracts people from all over the world, special attention will be paid to making sure people won’t have to spend too much on shipping. This doesn’t mean that you’re guaranteed to get someone from the same country as you, but if there are only a couple participants from your part of the world, it’s a possibility. Either way, we will not tolerate complaints from people who refuse to mail packages outside of their country. If you have a problem with this, you shouldn't sign up because there's always a chance you will have to pay a little extra to ship your package out. This season is about giving, so you shouldn't be picky about little things like shipping fees.

I don't really agree. the item he sent was within the price limit and didnt break any of the posted rules. I just think it sets a bad precedent.

not an issue unless he (snoogans) wants to join of course.

in anycase I hope you get an extra awesome gift this year Thanos.

After reading you take on it, I realized i was wrong and retract my statement. I just felt bad that it was such a disappointing gift. It was great a gag gift but there should have been a legit one with it as as well. No offense to Snoogans who I was paired with last year, I forgot who sent it before commenting.

Thanos got a pillow of his face

The fact that I basically got cyber-stalked and had a real photo of my actual face printed on a pillow was just unsettling, to say the least. I can appreciate the sentiment... a little. My dogs still can't look at the pillow without completely losing their shit and flipping out, though.

If you want to read something really funny Ronin, go check out the 2012 Secret Santa thread. So much win! :hypno

Also, I'll try and get on every day to update. They blocked I-Mockery at my work. My Unit Manager gave me a discussion how going on I-Mockery could make people feel bad "Even though I don't think you would make people feel bad."

I love my job so I will abide by said wishes of not making people feel bad while at work. I'll be on my phone most of the time which is a pain to type, copy paste upload with but it will be done nonetheless.

To my lucky secret person, you should be getting two packages from Amazon, one will be gift wrapped, the other will be in a plan box. One will arrive earlier than the other. I suggest waiting until you get both boxes since no doubt it'll seem a little confusing without the other package.

Yeah a lot of stuff is priced for collectors or people who for whatever reason dont want to buy online(although we base prices off online) current gen is pretty fair, but for most of the old stuff id just recomend downloading.

I went to Vegas for the first time back late September-early October. People thought me and others were crazy for being there over 9 days but there is so much to do. I don't know if this your first time but make sure you go to the Pinball Museum (hole in the wall...but sooo awesome - they have change machines but bringing quarters is good too), Insert Coin (take lots of quarters) in Freemont, and Monta Ramen (http://www.montaramen.com/) (will need a taxi to get there). Indeed it did! Thanks so much, Protoclown! It's awesome and I can't believe there's another package on the way. I suppose I'll wait to post photos until I have everything.

I'm shipping the stuff out tomorrow. Either in the morning by USPS barring any other emergency work calls or after 10:00pm by whoever ships that late, but it WILL ship tomorrow!

Glad you like everything! I found that copy of Creepy and was mildly tempted to keep it for myself. I lost the tag for the stickers but they're from a local artist and friend of the comic shop I work for Victor Dandridge (http://vip8bits.tumblr.com/)

I love Jason movies. Now while Kane Hodder is my favorite Jason, I do love all the movies for one reason or another. I do like Part III alot. I am going to see Kane again next year at a convention so I might just for the heck of it get him to sign my figure. Yeah, I know it's not his Jason but to me Kane is Jason. lol :D

Part III is great. It has the best intro music ever, has the hilarious 3D eyeball squash scene, and it's the first time Jason puts on his iconic hockey mask.

Alright! I got my SS gift yesterday! So get ready for a buttload of images like always, that's how I roll and that's what my gifter wanted, so check it out.

http://i.imgur.com/iygx6vN.jpg
So it's a giant box, that's always a good sign, right?

http://i.imgur.com/hxw2ho6.jpg
Alright, so we got a letter and a ton of brown packing paper. Let's see what the letter says.

http://i.imgur.com/RDCSk5U.jpg
It looks like our good buddy Dextire got stuck with me this year!
He also included some candy canes and some cards, which was awfully nice of him. I just love TMNT!

http://i.imgur.com/Kr1lKUY.jpg
Domo-kun, who popped up in last year's SS gift decided to show up for a little fun. Domo-kun loves candy canes.

http://i.imgur.com/Isqw8wi.jpg
Dextire's letter wants me to check out the presents before I finish it, and who am I to say no to Dextire?

http://i.imgur.com/PMOiLAa.jpg
A closer look at the movie card things. Domo-kun has no idea what they really are.

http://i.imgur.com/RYgxiXF.jpg
And holy crap, look at all this candy and these knick-knacks he through in here, I'm not going to have to buy any sweets for ages!
Also a toy sai, a pack of zombies, a key-chain bottle opener, dinosaurs, and more! Wow, Dextire really went overboard this year!

http://i.imgur.com/saoP2gi.jpg
Domo-Kun seems pleased with this offering.

http://i.imgur.com/nKn41s7.jpg
But wait, there's more! Five presents each wrapped in TMNT wrapping paper. I'm loving it.

http://i.imgur.com/14d3Vmt.jpg
Oh man! TMNT Legos, a TMNT fishing game, a lucha libre spider, four awesome movies, AND a collectors album of Wacky Packages! Great presents, Dextire! Now lets finish reading that letter he sent.

I was going to call it a day and just eat a ton of candy, but Dextire wanted to see those legos get put together so I had no choice in the matter.

http://i.imgur.com/A3Hhg03.jpg
Man, it's been ages since I got to play with legos. Well, if I don't count the two mini-figures I was sent last year, that is.
I just saw the commercial for these TMNT sets the other day, and I was clamoring to have one. Dextire read my mind.

Seems simple enough for a mutigen tossing sewer boat piloted by a cyborg fish mutant.

http://i.imgur.com/Z7hIuDJ.jpg
Building it was a breeze. Look at that sassy little Foot Ninja!

http://i.imgur.com/geHYKzh.jpg
Now it's time to put Raph and his bike together.

http://i.imgur.com/IWkc492.jpg
Just look how cute little bitty Raphael is with his teeny tiny shell and super cute sais!

http://i.imgur.com/wLGMRaP.jpg
This went together just as easy as the first one did. It does look cooler though.

http://i.imgur.com/2IkWwLl.jpg
Just look at that shellhead, he's so proud.

Alright, let's get down to business.

http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/819/0vdk.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/0vdk.jpg/)
Neat and tidy!

http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/69/9bcb.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/69/9bcb.jpg/)
Ex Leper was my secret santa, and he gifted me with a mountain of gifts. Or at least it would be a mountain, if I was tiny. Hey, maybe one of the presents is a shrink ray!

http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/600/crck.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/600/crck.jpg/)
Gift #1 was candy! Candy that could potentially be used as a hockey puck, that is. Seriously, the average reeses are completley dwarfed by these half pound behemoths. I haven't tried the mints yet, but I'm kind of afraid to because the colors remind me of Hungry Hungry Hippos and I don't want to taste hippo meat :x

http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/51/rrak.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/51/rrak.jpg/)
Gift #2 is a parachute dude that I can't really do anything with right now because it's cold and dark out and there aren't any tall buildings near me :(

http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/197/hiel.JPG (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/197/hiel.JPG/)
Gift #3 are these awesome litlle squeeze top things that you put on your condiment bottles and it looks like the monster is puking out the contents! Cool! The package for the guy on the right says Mustard Monster, but clearly there's been some sort of mixup at the place where they package these because I got Bart Simpson instead.

Here's a fact about Ex Leper that not too many people know-the guy's very, very generous. Gift #4 was a certificate to a tattoo parlor of my choice, and I went all out:

This makes me wish it was real, though:
http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/854/2grv.png (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/854/2grv.png/)

Oooh a letter let's see.It included a list of everything just in case those dastardly customs officers had looted my package. I'm happy to say everything arrived safely. Including this wonderful limerick, that I hope you won't mind me sharing:

A young teenaged guy named Ted
went out and fought the undead
Looked up and around
And what had he found?
A well blasted zombie head.

I have to say that's quite a start. Let's dig in

Alrighty! I finally have some free time to share my Secret Santa gift haul with you guys. Sorry I didn't get to put these up last week, but I've been super busy on a variety of projects and wanted to make sure I gave this awesome holiday haul the proper attention it deserves. This year I was lucky enough to get Thanos as my Secret Santa! So let's dive into this box of wonders and see what treasures are lurking deep within, shall we?

If there's one person who can teach me to be sexy (well... sexier), it's gotta be Carmen Electra. I don't think she's up to much these days, so I could probably just call her up on the phone and ask how to be sexy, but this book will do just fine. Maybe I can read this while listening to her debut album (http://www.i-mockery.com/bad-albums/carmen/) for the ultimate sexy experience?

http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/secret-santa/rog2013/2013secret-santa5.jpg
Awesome! I get to build monsters AND it comes in a tiny metal lunchbox? Who could ask for more? Never seen this before, but I look forward to giving it a try. If only I had this before I started making BCPG, I may have come up with an entirely different game.

Holy crap YES! I don't think I have any RoboCop figures, and I definitely didn't own the "2013 I-Mockery Secret Santa Exclusive" one! Best of all, as you can see from the label at the bottom, it's "Remake Additive Free - Safe For Kids!" Which is a good thing, because if it was a figure from that piece of shit upcoming remake, I would've set it on fire and banned you from the forum. I kid of course............ or do I?

Either way, he will defend my Christmas tree from injustice for the remainder of the month. His first objective will be to destroy the DVD copy of "Christmas Vacation 2" that I own.

So like, if I read this, I don't need to get caught up on True Blood, right? I'm sure this contains all the same pertinent, factual information that the hit TV series shares with its audiences. Keen!

Found this random tiny little figure in the box and he kinda reminds me of the Kraken from Clash of the Titans, but with better hair. I'll be sure to introduce him to my M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, as I think they'd accept him as one of their own even though he's not flesh-colored.

A van to transport the Wolfman's nards in? Sign me up! I actually saw these cars this past Halloween season and made a mental note to pick them up later on. Now that I have one, you've given me the excuse to get the rest of the set. Thankee!

http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/secret-santa/rog2013/2013secret-santa10.gif
I have no idea where this little Frankenstein's Monster lamp came from (I'd love to hear the story behind it!), but it's absolutely awesome. My favorite thing is that he has a single exposed tooth that lights up. Well that and the fact that he's standing on a pile of bones, has a limp wrist, and there's a snake coiled around his belly. Rarely is so much awesomeness packed into such a small lamp, but whoever made this thing truly pulled off some wonders. Kickass!

http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/secret-santa/rog2013/2013secret-santa11.jpg
Last but certainly not least, I got this fantastic Domo-Kun trooper hat for the winter season! I have a Domo hoodie that this will go with perfectly, and I'll totally wear this around when it gets really cold out. And by really cold, I mean 50 degrees, because when you move to Los Angeles, the nearly constant perfect weather all year long makes your body completely pussified whenever there's a slight climate change.

Thanks again for your seriously amazing Secret Santa generosity, Thanos! I love my gifts and I love the labels you put on them too. Never stop doing that, it makes 'em all the more enjoyable! Merry Christmas!

Rog, I'm overjoyed that my Secret Santa gifts were right up your alley! The only one I was sort of worried about was the Domo cap. You'd mentioned "no clothes", so I was on the fence about getting it. Glad I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Domo-Kun's Angry Smashfest is one of my favorite games, so it's just a small token of my thanks.

As to the Frankenstein's Monster lamp... I don't know much about it either. It was collecting dust in an antique emporium that I frequent every so often. I must have passed it by a dozen times and never noticed it. I finally saw it a few days after signing up for the Secret Santa exchange and knew it would be a great gift. Why is Frankie surrounded by a snake? What's up with the bones -- is he a cannibal? Why are his eyes glowing? HAS FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER GONE RADIOACTIVE? And yet, he extends his hand in peace, almost saying "me... friendddddd". It's just so... weird. :-D

When you manage to get Carmen Electra to sign that book, I'd be happy to see a photo (as would the rest of the I-Mock crowd I'm sure).

Mighty fine haul, RoG! I have also never seen the Monster Mashup game. Look fun!

That's one badass mummy you got there, Thanos! He looks like he knows kung fu. :xmas1

Ok, so Protoclown was my secret Santa this year! He explained in his letter that he did indeed steal awesome things from Ex Leper at my request. Or it may have just been an old lady across the street.
Either way, he stole stuff and gave it to me. And that's what Christmas is all about.

http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv150/dextire/Secret%20Santa%202013/ss2013-2_zps67c63fd5.jpg
This book tells the tale of Dargoth Van Gloomfang and his quest to reclaim the title that once belonged to him ("the faggiest vampire" if you weren't following along).

I'm really happy to see how popular Shout! Factory movies have been this year in the SS event. In this case we have not one, but four awesome horror movies!

Thanos - That retro Mummy figure is seriously awesome. I love that they're releasing classic MEGO style figures like that these days. Hopefully you can feed him those extra candy canes.

Dextire - Another fine haul and great pics too! Now that you have one, you're gonna want so many more "Pop!" vinyl figures. I currently have some Boo Berry ones and have resisted the urge to get others, but they keep releasing so many good figures that I know I'll cave-in eventually.

But, um, I didn't realize what it was :lol I've ordered a handful of things from different sites the past weeks, and didn't connect that this might be a gift. However, let me say that replicant did an excellent job as santa.

I am sorry it's just those two books. I had a bunch of other things planned but Amazon screwed things up. I was worried about making the deadline and since shipping takes time to the Great White North...I said screw it and change plans. I got mine from blood_panther a few days ago:

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta01.jpg
It came with instructions on how this gift smorgasbord should be approached, starting with gift #1:

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta02.jpg
I'm hesitant to try to the french fry lip balm, but the Super Star stress toy has already been useful.

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta03.jpg
It's everyone's favorite anthropomorphic ice cream sandwich, now in multicolored light form!

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta04.jpg

I don't know much about My Little Pony, but I'm sure there's something in the show about muffins that lends itself nicely to this magnet. Blood panther was guessing the two lego pouches would be the British cop and the barbarian. Was he right?

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta05.jpg
Yes he was. Partly. British cop, yes, but in place of a barbarian, we have the pretzelmeister (complete with removable paper skirt).

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta06.jpg
Also, there's a Mr. Bean figure. Sure, the role of Mr. Bean may have typecast Rowan Atkinson as a guy who mainly does slapstick, but isn't it worth it to get a rubber figure of yourself?

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta13/ssanta07.jpg
Last but not least, a Ninjabread men kit. The streets will run white with icing when candy-bedecked gingerbread man commit brown-on-brown crime!

All in all, a pretty sweet haul from Blood_Panther.

And as an added bonus:

At the end of my post for last year's Secret Santa, I mentioned that MarioRPG had gotten me one more gift from "a somewhat unreliable site". Well, I was about to upgrade them to "a totally unreliable site" when the gift in question finally arrived some weeks later:

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta12/ssanta05.jpg
A Zippo lighter with Mao Zedong on it. I assume the writing is something about the Communist spirit burning like the literal flame of the lighter.

http://www.i-mockery.com/drboogie/ssanta12/ssanta06.jpg
I was surprised it worked at all, but I was even more surprised that it produced a green flame. Here's hoping it's just a neat trick with the butane, and not a sight that the lighter's wick is full of toxic chemicals.

Hahahah this is awesome. I was reading through that thread a couple weeks back and started feeling sad that this part of the gift never showed up. It reads something like "To serve the people".

Douglas MacKrell
Dec 23rd, 2013, 02:44 PM
Twas some days before Christmas, and shoppers were manic
and Doug received an email that sent him into a panic.
"Where are you?" they beckoned, "your pictures are needed."
"Oh crap!" he shouted, "the time I've exceeded!"

So away with a start Doug took to unwrapping
embarrassed that from the forums he had been napping.
He cut into his package like Murdoc caused strife
using his trusty MacGyver pocket knife.

When up with a whoosh came such oodles of stuff
that he could dive in and swim while in the buff.

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0447_zps08feca41.jpg

But he kept on his clothes, my fine fellow
and quickly discovered a toy made of lego!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0450_zps48b9acd9.jpg

The next thing Doug found nearly sent him to fits
it was a stocking made in exactly 8 bits!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0452_zps4c24e9cb.jpg

Though the packaged warned of pranks or perhaps something smutty
Doug was pleasantly relieved to find the original Silly Putty!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0453_zps69f3582b.jpg

Speaking of pranks, there were enough for a fink!
Sneezing powder, solar bugs, and disappearing ink!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0454_zpsba90ae10.jpg

Next came a gift that bards will surely chronicle
a plastic toy pen made of lego's Bionicle!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0457_zpsfb64bd81.jpg

To say there was more don't do it justice, Pilgrim
next up was a sack from some place called Hilton

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0458_zps4adde98d.jpg

What I found inside was a surprise I admit
as I first found a Japanese Dental Kit.

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0460_zps7d8a5959.jpg

But inside that sack I found much much more
It was a iMockery poster with 80s characters galore!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0461_zpsfff60063.jpg

Next came some suff as old as Johnny Mnemonic
a handfull of some random 90's comics!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0462_zpsbb615648.jpg

Since Doug's earbuds were broken he had so much gratitude
that his Secret Santa sent him some with Attitudz!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0464_zps54a3c9d2.jpg

Then came some stuff that will surly come in handy
a bunch of stickers, and cards, and some expired candy!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0465_zps2a4a850b.jpg

"What's this?!" Doug screamed! "How can this be?!
a tiny credit card light up christmas tree?!"

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0467_zps7b43b20a.jpg

Last but not least, please, your hat do hold on
Doug got a Zoid, helicopter, and DVD of Voltron!

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0468_zpse5eb913c.jpg

All this rhyming by now I'm sure you're tired
hearing all about things that Doug has acquired.
but no need to fuss this will all soon be over
this wasn't just done to be some Christmas time poser.

Doug is new here for sure, but happy to be included
and glad the spirit of the season hasn't left everyone deluded.
Doug also wanted to make sure to thank Chris Glass
and he hoped the wait for upload wasn't a pain in his ass.

Now that everything's over it's time to relax and have fun.

Oh, wait... it's the 23rd!! CHRISTMAS ISN'T EVEN DONE

http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t189/inventivehero/IMG_0469_zps4859bab8.jpg

OK, so here's the cool stuff I got from my Secret Santa! (Sorry this is late, but it turns out I post photos in a forum precisely once a year, so I have to figure it out every time...)

As I mentioned, I don't know who my SS is, but I got a Priority Mail box sent right to my door (Oooh, PRIORITY!), and the return address is Arlington, TX (Oooh, ARLINGTON!). First up:

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/689/ev7a.jpg

I love Archer, and the DVD is great, because I'm a sucker for special features. We're in a ZONE...

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/836/aqj2.jpg

Season Three of Archer! We're heading further into a ZONE of DANGER, Lana!
And speaking of Lana, let's just take another look at that Season 2 cover art...

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1280x1024q90/12/lzqp.jpg

Nicely drawn, FX.

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/42/4zhr.jpg

It's Blade Runner: The Final Cut!
I love this movie, but somehow I've never picked up the DVD. I'm not sure if I've even seen this version - the last few times I've seen BR is on cable...
(A new edit! I wonder if Roy's still going to get all emo in the rain...?)

And for some delicious snacking during my DVD's:

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/571/h7s4.jpg

Skittles!
But not just ANY bag o'Skittles - these are from the Dark Side...

Captain516 - How are the Reese's Cups? I've seen those giant ones and am curious if the peanut butter to chocolate ratio is still good as the normal ones. Looks pretty awesome. Also, I demand a photo of the monsters in action while barfing up ketchup and mustard! Nice Scream Factory DVDs too. Well done, Ex Leper!
Just saw this.
I guess I'd better do it if I dont wanna get BANNED.

well, looking through the remaining Santas, DIMNOS is from TX. might be him?

My Secret Santa gift is currently mired in the Canadain Customs bureaucracy. According to the tracking information, it left LA on 12/11, stayed in Customs until 12/29, and is currently scheduled to be delivered. Maybe even before the new f'ing year!!

Tracking # LC091911640US

Location: Canada :p

I sent my goodies out via USPS Priority Mail earlier in the month, so no worries there, but my Secret Santa recipient hasn't logged in or responded to PMs in quite a while now. So yeah, dunno what the hold up is, but still looking forward to seeing the remaining gifts posted, even if they are way late.

Sadly, it is true, I haven't received anything yet. But it seems to have been just part of an overall trend for me this year.

To be frank, I'm afraid that 2013 was not a good year for me in general and I'm sort of relieved that it's over. I lost a very dear loved one in the summer and it was really unexpected and a bad shock for my family.

I was also in the middle of transferring to another college. The transfer was necessary but it set back my progress in my program. We also had a major ice storm during the holidays which knocked out power for a few days, although thankfully it came back on just in time for Christmas.

Overall, it was just one setback and struggle after another. But life's too short to mope around, so I'm going to live it up with my friends tonight and hope you all do too. I'm going to crack open a nice cold drink, and hope next year will be better.

Uhm... that's no good, Ronin. You shouldn't go ungifted simply because you had a crappy year. If anything, it should be the opposite. I think we can find someone to pull double duty. I have no qualms doing that. That is, if you end up getting nothing and not just a late package.

A closer look at all this yummy candy. as a side note, the pez dispenser was opened up and scattered through out the package, but not it a way that looks like it happend just through travel. Customs does not like pez I guess.

Hahahah this is awesome. I was reading through that thread a couple weeks back and started feeling sad that this part of the gift never showed up. I figured a lighter with everyone's favourite Chairman would be appreciated - as well as the neat green flame! I had a coworker translate it a while back. It reads something like "To serve the people".

NP. Btw since I know your Bond fan. I don't know if you guys get BBC programs up there but BBC America is going to air a new series at the month called Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond. - http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/worldwide/191213fleming.html

Ronin - We'll send you something ourselves if your Secret Santa doesn't come through. I'm waiting to hear back from 10,000 Volt Ghost to see if he's heard back from your Secret Santa yet. This doesn't usually happen so please don't let it turn you away from participating next year. We'll pair you up with someone more reliable next time.

Also, the person I sent gifts to still hasn't posted his photos yet (over a month later), but I know he received them. So yeah, some people dropped the ball this time around and it will likely affect their chances of participating in the future unless they have a really good explanation.

Hey Ronin, I just wanted to let you know that we ordered your gifts. They're being shipped to me first cuz the company doesn't ship out of the country, but myself, 10,000 Volt Ghost and Dr. Boogie are all pitching in to make sure you have a nice Secret Santa event. So once it arrives here, I'll forward it to your mailing address. If your mailing address has changed since the start of the Secret Santa event back in November, please send me a PM with your updated info, otherwise, I'll be shipping it to the one you gave to 10KVG.

No traps. Good thing too, I couldn't find where I put my forehead protector. Ah, and it feels heavy...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/RoninS/i-Mockery/P3070007.jpg
First, a note from RoG, plus a napkin booklet and some food shaped erasers. We're off to a good start.

Postcards commemorating i-Mockery's YouTube launch, Abobo's Big Adventure and Bigfoot, truly life affirming events for the ages, right up there with the time I took out that giant snake.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/RoninS/i-Mockery/P3070010.jpg
A bubblegum card, a Tournament of Nerds sticker and a Tickle my Pickle pin button. My friend who was taking the picture sincerely did not know if that was a euphemism, I assured her it was not (she has difficulty with sarcasm and double entendres sometimes...).
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/RoninS/i-Mockery/P3070011.jpg
A box within a box. With a question mark too, no less. What nefarious surprise awaits me? Tune into the next episode of Drago- no, no, wait, sorry, sorry, wrong show.

Let's move on, shall we?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/RoninS/i-Mockery/P3070012.jpg
Novelty candy! Bubblegum balls shaped like meatballs and a handful of heavy lollipops. I'm not a big sucker!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/RoninS/i-Mockery/P3070013.jpg
And finally, gum shaped like cat hairballs and a bunch of novelty mints. There's regular, Cthulhu, ranch, onion ring, curry and garlic. It's like a meal to go, perfect for running missions while running with your arms stretched out like a bird!

And I guess that's it! We are wrapped up for this year's Secret Santa! Or is that RoG's line?

I wanna thank all the i-Mockery crew who came together after whatshisname went AWOL. I know RoG, 10,000 Volt Ghost and Dr. Boogie (let me know if I missed anyone) all pooled together this awesome pack full of sweet ninja loot for me. Hope everyone had a lot of fun and I'll definitely be participating again next year if it's in the budget.
