I wish I could like that place because it seems like the natural next step from message boards like this and I miss that culture. I don't know what it is that keeps me away, but it is a powerful force and I've learned not to question it.

i tried to get into reddit a few years back and couldn't. the trick is to unsubscribe to everything that they auto-subscribe you to, and just search for your interests.

i'm subscribed only to insect/spider subreddits and /r/mspaint, and it makes reddit a-ok.

it's no 2001 ezboard, but it's entertaining enough!

I checked it out a while ago and the format was horrible so I bailed. I posted on Something Awful for years but banned myself because I lost interest in message boards in general.

I-mockery is interesting now because i've never actually been around when a message board died. I used to like this place a lot.
