I turned my computer off on Friday, and all was well in the world. When I turned it on Saturday, it wouldn't load windows because it says that some startup file is missing from the System directory (of Win2k). What the hell?

No, it gets to the little bar that fills up, and then gives me the error messege.

honestly what I would do is reinstall windows hopefully you should beable to repair windows. then I would back up your files and reformat and do a fresh install.

I had that too. Unless you made an ERD when you installed windows 2k you will need to reformat.

Try using your LucasArts bootdisk.
