Whatever happened to google? It used to be a pretty decent search engine, but now whenever I type anything in, I have to sift through 500 entries for online retailers before I even come across one that actually has something to do with the subject matter.

What are the best engines to use?

My brother switched to Teoma (http://www.teoma.com) a few months ago when he was fed up with Google.
