I was watching Dead Alive for the FIRST TIME with some of my freinds and I was amazed at the gore level in that movie.

Now I didn't mind seeing the man get his hands cut of in the beggining, seeing peole getting their organs ripped out was fine, or watching the lawnmower destroy the fuck out of everybody, But the part when that guys mom's skin ripped off and he had to glue it back on, and the the mom shooting that puss in the custard made me cringe.

I can't stand stuff geting cut and dangling or watching a nasty infected wound shooting crap around the room.

Somehow it disturbs me when a character in a movie suffers brain damage (usually defined as part of the brain getting blown or ripped out) or has their eyes ripped out/poked out/otherwise destroyed. Maybe because brain damage and blindness are phobias of mine...

ever see zombie flesh eaters, where the girl gets her eye poked out by a very sharp splinter?

Oatmeal, you woman. I saw Dead Alive a few days ago and laughed my ass of at all of it. I command you to watch it again and not close your eyes this time. >:

I had no problem watching it either. Hell, I thought it should have been more horrific and bloody!

Godammit!111!. I thought it was a funny movie also and it kicked illegal amounts of ass. I'm not scared of it, it just gives me the shudders.

Its kinda like the paper cut scene in Jackass The Movie. That made me cringe.

Redneck Zombies made me feel sick when they were eating the flesh. It was just the sound and how long it went on that was gross. Aside from that, it was hilarious.

I can't stand that wax animation that they sometimes have in horror movies. They like to use it for melting effects on people, something like a guy getting scanned and they have his flesh melt away to reveal the skeleton- they would have multi-colored wax to resemble a face over a plastic skeleton and then speed up the melting of it. It looks way to liquidy for the kinds of colors that come out (skin water) and makes me really sick. Waay too unnatural, even for a absurdly gory movie.

I have no problem with gore whatsoever. in fact, I love it. But what makes me disgusted is, if a movie has a scene where people put a needle in their bloodvein. I fucking hate needles.

You're all scardy cats. I can watch a snuff film or extremely disgusting/violent/gorey porno without even flinching >:

Except spiders, I fucking HATE spiders :(

the guy in the texas chainsaw massacre 2 who kept picking at his scalp with the hot coathanger was a bit flinch-worthy

I can watch gore, but I hate the squishy sound of people getting stabbed. :(

I don't like watching people get scratched with finger nails, or forks, or getting cut by razor blades. :twitch

I can satnd all kinds of gore.

Only violence and disgusting stuff in a movie to ever make me cringe is in Jackass the Movie, because I know that that stuff isn't simulated like all the horror movies are.

So far the papercut scene is the only one in any movie that I can't bring myself to watch...I forced myself to keep my eyes open for the first time, but that was more than enough.

The papercut one wasnt's all that bad in my eyes actually. It was the pee-cone that made me kinda queezy.

But then again, that's not really gore.
