What other stores (besides Wal-Mart) allow you to return unopened DVDs for store credit without a receipt? Anybody know?
I have this:

and don't want it. :/

Ya as far as I know Bestbuy still does, I've returned countless gifts there without receipt.

Who gave that to you, Rog? That gift seems so far off from something you would actually want.

I-Mockery freebies. One of the perks of running this site is the free stuff I get sometimes. The stuff I don't want, I simply sell off or return for store credit.
And no, I don't think BestBuy accepts returns without receipts anymore. :(

Circuit City is like Best Buy 2. You'll be damned before they take something without a receipt.
Watch them not need a receipt and i am wrong.

Best Buy accepts returns without receipts, but not in this case. If you had bought the DVD from there, you could, because the receipt information comes up on their computers when they scan the item.
Hold out until after Christmas time. A lot of stores are more lenient then, because you can pass it off as a gift you don't want, and at the very least could exchange for another DVD.

OK, well, 3 DVDs. I didn't look at the link before. :(
All I'm saying is, you can usually get away with bringing in items to return for store credit after Christmas time.

Just make sure you find a place that actually carries the item. I think you would get lucky at best buy, perhaps circuit city or you could try selling it used on amazon for 45.

Or you could sell it on eBay for $200.

Yeah Best Buy has it:

I'll try returning it after xmas. They used to let you return anything there without a receipt, but back in October they changed their policy. :/
