Rongi, the only problem is that you need to stop letting people like Hartman get to you. The moment you each make three or more consecutive replies to each other in someone else's thread, you become an annoyance to others. Being annoying is what Hartman's all about, so he's not going to stop it. Don't grace him with anymore than one sharp comment when there's an opportunity for it, and the rest of the time, ignore him. It's that and hounding certain people even when they're not posting something particularly stupid that gets old. Nothing to leave over, in my opinion.

that was exactly my point all along. personally I think maybe we all should rag on rongi right about now. these type of posts seem like they are made to make us feel sorry for him or something then boost his confidence when people defend him.

i remember a time a few months back when everyone was posting their "dear john" letters on the boards about how they're leaving...expecting a huge fanfare and lots of "oh, please don't go...the mockery won't be the same without you" blah, blah, blah. the truth of the matter is that a) go, no one gives a damn and for every mocker that leaves 3+ newbies always find their way here to fill in the gap and b) the mockery is the last place you should take yourself or anyone else, for that matter, seriously...i learned that a while back.

I'm hardly a big fan of posts like these, but I seem to remember liking Rongi before he spent too much of his time exchanging blunt verbal objects with the likes of Hartman or repeatedly telling Captain Robo to "shut the fuck up". So he's having a an awkward moment, but there's maybe two or three people on these boards I've never seen take the Internet a little too seriously.
