I saw absolutely nothing like this in this forum previously.
All of my friends kept ranting and raving about a Japanese snack called Pocky. It's cookie sticks dipped in random cremes. So I bought a box one day at Suncoast. The friends with me immediately hit me up for some. I, however, think that they're greatly overreacting, or are way too obsessed with Japanese culture. While good, the Pocky wasn't THAT good.

Whats really odd is that you bought Japanese novelty candy at a moviegoods store. :/

well i've had them them and they are nice, but people get way to obsesed with japanese culture.
i mean i love japanese culture, but some people are ridiculous, there's no point wasting money on something that you only want because its japanese. like those people who buy nikitas (japanese dogs) just because they're from japan, these are real shitty dogs, they apparently bite and show no affection towards humans, but people still buy them just cause they're from japan. funny how japan is currently obsessed with western culture, and yet there are people overhere obsesed with jap culture. whether jap stuff is just another passing fad or not....

I'm a fan of the japanese, but when i see people with shirts that have japanese on them and I ask them "Do you know what that says?" and they say "No, fuck off freak." I get angry and imform them that there shirt says there a stupid fuck as they walk away. But it's kinda funny how someone would where something they don't understand. Oh and in terms of over rated foods, beer. Very over rated. I'll back this claim up later if needed.

Escargot is incredibly overrated. Escargot is snails cooked in garlic butter. They are rubbery and don't taste like anything. Yucko.

I want a shirt that actually says "I'm a stupid fuck." in hiragana. :lol
Oh, and lasagna is overrated. Everyone keeps telling me how much they love lasagna or their moms make great lasagna or whatever. WHAT'S SO DAMN GOOD ABOUT IT? It's pasta with sauce, meat, and that clumpy cheese. It looks like a cheesy, meaty cake, the edges usually get burnt, and t falls apart when you try to get it on your fork. If I want pasta, I'll eat spaghetti. Lasagna sucks. >:

Fuck you, Perndog.
It does get burnt around the edges, though. :(
But I always get Stouffers or something and cry with joy. It feels like there's a party in my mouth and everyone's invited and drunk.

Perndog, you seriously need to stop eating shitty food. When you eat good lasagna, you will love it forever. It is nothing like spaghetti, due to the fact that it is more dense, and isn't noodles. I think someone tricked you when they gave you that shit lasagna. Although it is very high in saturated fats and carbohydrates, so might not want to eat too much... oh god.
And Schimid, you too have never had good lasagna if stouffers is the first thing that pops into your mind as good lasagna. Find a friend that has a strong base with cooking, they will feed you some good lasagna. Oh man, just thinking about my uncle's (he's a chef) lasagna makes me hungry.
My family,on both sides, love to cook. Probably why 4 out of 5 of my realatives are overweight. I wish I didn't care about my image enough to enjoy life that much. :(

If anyone is to blame for any sort of lasagna misconceptions, it's Garfield. He's a good scapegoat, because he's not real.
Also, I think ribs are kind of overrated. They're good, yes, but I don't think they need rib fests and stuff for them.

KFC's boneless chicken wings are good, though. Because there are no bones to chew around.

Beer is just too tasteless for me, but then again the only beer I can get is bud. But it's over rated because some group of drunks would be like "hey come get drunk with us! it'll be fun!" now my problem isn't really with the beer (unless its bad) but the manner it's used such as just to get drunk. plus i'd never get drunk because my luck is ill wake up in death vally missing my wallet and have a used condem sticking out of my ass. And for those who i know i live in new york and am jewish, so missing my wallet or being in death vally is horrible for me.

Mass produced draft brewed Pisswater American Beer(like bud and miller) is terribally overated. Beer in general is not. And not everybody drinks beer to get drunk, eventhough thats nice every once in a while.

Agreed. There's nothing like a bottle of expensive imported beer when you want to enjoy the taste of it. And there's nothing like a case of cheap domestic beer when you want to get sloshed.
