It's a fucking fantastic album. You should get it. If you like any of the Catholics other work, you'll like this.

I have Teenager of Year, Frank Black, and Black Letter Days. I'll be picking this up with the christmas money i got from relatives.

I heard Cult of Ray was really bad, is it?

You have GOT to get yourself the Catholics self titled debut and Dog in the Sand as well. Those are probably my two favorites.

I thought it was pretty good, but certainly not as good as his first two or any of the Pixies' work.

I enjoy "Cult of Ray" but I will say it's probably my least favorite of his post Pixies work. It's got some real gems on it, but on the whole it doesn't hold up as well as some of the others. Still worth getting if you're a fan though.

I guess the pixies reunion is going to happen, there is supposed to be a new album in the works also.
