I've never actually seen it (I love the comic so much that if I saw this I'd probably angrily shake my fist at my tv until I passed out), so I can't really say anything bad about the movie. Except that it was made by the guy who did Blade...and Blade is one of the worst movies I've seen.

Captain Nemo was so ahead of his time in the movie but he couldn't find a good director and cast.

The movie was good as an action movie, but as an adaption of the comic, it blew horribly. I plan on getting the DVD, though, because it was a pretty good action movie. I also want to see if Sean Connery was indeed at his own funeral (I swear he was).
