I need to grab a pic from a flash image, and I suck at Macs.

Try *app's name, next to "File," usually* > Services > Grab > Screen.
If it's X you're using, that should probably work.

It is X, but the 'screen' option is all dimmy so I can't click it. :( I'll have to find a woy around it. Thanks for the tip, though.

Hmm. Well, take a look in your "Applications" folder, and, in subfolder "Utilities," there's an app called "Grab." I just tried it out, and it appears to work for screenshots. Run it, go to the menu item "Capture," and then "Screen" or "Timed Screen."

Nope, still not clickable. It's not that big a deal and I better run along anyway.

The app from the Utilities folder doesn't work? :(
Alright. Sorry it didn't work.

It was a combination of keys, because I used it all the time in my graphic arts class in high school.
Apple, shift and one of the higher function keys, I think. :/
