Was that the old I-Mockery background? I've never seen it before.

Zero Signal was a staffer? I need to read up on my I-mock history.

yeah! I do remember that! I was looking up something, that i dont remember, but up came the visionary darkness section of I-mockery.com. I've been surfing on it ever since. The conversion to ASP was an excellent Highpoint. I hope the PHP era will be jst as good!

AHHHHH. Nostalgia.

Haha I love seeing those old pages, but you guys wouldn't believe what I-Mockery really looked like just before I transfered it over from geocities. I'll try to find a backup of it for you guys to see.

As for what happened to "The Guy Who Can't Draw Comics", I started up "Pixel Pals" and lost interest in it doing the other comic any more.

YES! I FOUND IT!

Ok people, here's the deal: you MUST view this site in Netscape. You see, back when this site was online, Netscape was by far the dominating web browser. Hardly anybody was using IE. So all of the cool rollover effects on the site were coded to work only with Netscape. You can still get around the site in IE, but you will NOT be able to see the cool rollovers, and you really should check them out.

Anyway, here you go... a glimpse at I-Mockery before it was moved off of the Geocities servers:
http://www.i-mockery.net/nostalgia/front.html

It's a house that you can navigate from room to room with ease, all you have to do is click on the various doors/areas to be taken to other areas. But be sure to roll over your mouse on various items to see the nifty rollover effects!

Wow, while I have no clue how to get anywhere, it's pretty cool.

Hehe, that was the idea behind it at the time. No real menu (unless you cheated and went to the site map link that we later posted) all you could do was explore the whole house to see what there was.

By the way, it works fine on this here IE6. >:

The site will load in IE, but the rollovers don't work in IE as far as I can tell. I have IE 6.0 and they don't work. When you rollover certain things in the house, they'll move/animate.

Yeah it works with IE6, i just tried it! :o

And I had that idea for my site. Except the doors would have signs and such so the viewers knew where they were going. :(

Yeah, it's pretty crazy to see how many changes this site has gone through over the years. I remember when I first started out on the web and I was just stuffing the site with all the cool animated gifs I could find. Ah yes, the good ol' days...

Thats also the time when you didn't have that many writers for VD. Boy, to imagine you did all that by yourself!
