WTF!? Had he made any direct connection by name that he was making fun of Reeve? People die why should we care? Because he paraded around in blue tights in front of a green screen for 4 hours of movie reel? Granted Reeve did do an awesome job of superman. |

Richard Gere is *very* insensitive Gere Interview Horrifies Reeve Fans Richard Gere shocked American viewers of morning TV show Live With Regis And Kelly by joking about a horse-riding accident, only days after Christopher Reeve's death. The Chicago actor recorded an interview about his recent horse-riding injury with hosts Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin last week, which was aired on Tuesday. When asked if he broke his hand by falling off a horse, Gere joked, "Men are not thrown off horses." Viewers were horrified to what appeared to be Gere's "insensitivity" to Reeve, who was paralyzed from the neck down after he was thrown from his horse in Virginia in 1995. Superman star Reeve died on Sunday after suffering cardiac arrest. --- My God, I hate people so much. OMG OMG HORSES ACCIDENTS RICHARD GERE IS A NAZI I mean, he is. But it was kind of obvious he was just making a cute little macho joke. |
