kellychaos Did the laughter sound canned to any of you also? Scripted press conferences AND laugh tracks. Preposterous, I say!

mburbank I just wrote a piece about the speech for Nat Lamp. I hope they buy it. My youngest needs new shoes.

FS well, that's a lot more interesting than the press trying to punch a story out of Laura Bush saying her hubby's boring.

rockets redglare I liked the fact that this was such an important event that it made the front page on most of today's major papers.

First Lady Restores Dingnity with Bestiality Joke

I'm not making this up. Barbara Bush at the Whitehouse Press corps dinner made a joke about how little W knew about farm life. It ended like this:

"he tried to milk the horse. What's more--it was a male horse."

Now, not that I don't think that's kind of funny, but...

now stop me if I'm wrong here, did the Mom of the More Moral than Thou family just tell a joke about her husband masturbating a horse?

Cause I kind of think she was making a joke, see, wherein her husband, the leader of the world's last superpower, beat off a farm animal.

Maybe I'm wrong, but ... they didn't even makes them kind of jokes on 'Hee-Haw'.
