Dimnos | If any Star Wars game can count I think Kingdom Hearts should too. I mean how many characters/locations/plot elements in that game were taken from a movie(s)?

executioneer | i'm not sure kh counts, since it's not really based on one movie or comic or novel? unless there's some dumb manga i'm not aware of that it's based on

Girl Drink Drunk | I enjoyed the second, and was amazed by how many of the orginal voice actors signed on for the dialogue, although I though the portrayals of the FF characters were lacking.

pac-man | I've got to put Kingdom Hearts out there, though I'm sure plenty would disagree.

Dimnos | I liked how you had to test your friends after fights to see if they had turned. They would get all pissed off about you not trusting them lol

Dimnos | Speaking of John Carpenter... what about The Thing on xbox. It was a much better game than what it looked.

Creepy-critters | Why has no-one mentioned "The Darkness"? The comic (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...heDarkness.jpg) was fucking badass, and the game (http://www.2kgames.com/images/slicks/darkness_ss2.jpg) caught the feeling and tone of the comic perfectly. And that worked wonders with me because I'm a huge comic dork.

The Penny Arcade game is actually really good in term of gameplay, and the story's funny if you like their humor. Also, From Russia With Love is pretty solid. They got all of the actors back for voices (Sean sounds too old, though) and the combat is pretty good. I still prefer Everything or Nothing, but FRWL is really faithful to the movie, save for the new content. |

pac-man | The Duckman pc adventure game. It didn't do anything special as far as point and click adventure games go, but Duckman was awesome and the game played like an episode.

BLEU | Super Empire Strikes Back is ridiculously difficult. I could never get past the first few Hoth levels.

I can top that: Street Fighter: the Movie (it's a game based on a movie based on a game!) JJ. That game was shit. Super Empire Strikes Back and Shadow of the Empire were pretty good. |
