| FS | A while back I rented some cheaply made movie, and it had trailers for all these shitty low budget movie trailers on it. One that stood out was for a black b-movie called Snuffed Out, which was impossibly hilarious. It had this voice-over of a black guy trying to sound really black saying black things, and it was way too long. "He's a dirty no good coppah." "She's a bad news biznitch." "Somethin be smellin funky in da hood." |

I saw the Grinch. Yeah, it sucked ass, but it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't based on the Dr. Suess book. Jim Carrey was kinda funny, but it would have been a lot better had they just tried to make an original movie. Which would have been impossible, as original ideas don't exist anymore.

Two shite trailers I just watched The Cat in The Hat- god this looked awful. Why does the movie industry constantly have to rape our childhood memories? What is the point in making films of Dr Seuss books?? They are entertaining, simplistic kids books that were designed to improve a childs vocabulary and grammar. THEY DONT NEED TO BE MADE INTO FILMS. Masked and anonymous- starring Bob Dylan- this looks so fucking hackneyed..dylan as the wandering, profound, doesnt say much cowboy type character. With John Goodman?? and dylan gets it together with penelope cruz? Why thats believable. |
