| Mockery | Yep, either you put a drop shadow behind all text (which flash has yet to make a simple filter for, unlike photoshop) or you put a dark box behind it. Only certain kinds of backgrounds can the text appear nicely enough without the need of shadows or boxes like that... |

They're purposely there. On those complex colored backgrounds, the texts can become hard to read, so I tried to compensate for that. My first attempt was to actually put together the Scumm font to use in the movie, but it was more trouble than it's worth. |

I am disturbed by the weird translucent black box that appears around the text... is that supposed to be in the movie, or is it just my computer? I'm not hatin' on your skills or anything, FS, I just wanna know.

| FS | Actually, I planned to, but dropped the idea for filesize reasons. Not that the karaoke ball would take up so much space, but it would slow down the animations, causing them to fall behind on the music. I then tried streaming the music, making it force the animation to keep up, but that raised filesize like whoa. |
