You didn't see it coming? There was an issue of Guitar World out months ago where Dimebag himself said he was uncertain about the future of Pantera, because Phil and Rex were all about Down, and to an extent on Phil's part, Superjoint Ritual. Side notes: The new Superjoint sounds... for lack of a better word, bizarre... as if Phil is trying to be Punk. It's not BAD, but it's not great either. Dimebag and Vinnie started a new band, the album should be out anytime now. |
