Best RPG characters.. Fei from Xenogears (you know he kicked all ass when he got the System ID ability) Magus (Chrono Trigger.. I can't BELIEVE you guys, especially some of you inclined towards Sephiroth, forgot about Magus) Aya (Parasite Eve.. if you consider it an RPG) Squall (FF VIII) Also, I admit, I'm a cheater. I use GameShark on any RPGs. Not because I cheat wholeheartedly, but when you've gotta divide your time between work, a girlfriend and car repairs (AAARGH!!) do YOU really have time to sit there and level up your characters? I KNOW I'm not alone on this. |

| Zomboid | Legend of dragoon was a pretty goood one, but it wasn't anywhere near the league of the FF series. The dragoon system was cool though. Too bad the characters weren't very likable. |

My RPG experience is limited to FF (go with what you know). I'm trying to break out into more games, but RPGs almost never go down in price. Although I did get Legend of Dragoon for $15 for Christmas. I wanna the SaGa games, Legend of Mana, Xenogears, Dark Cloud, and maybe Suikoden. Anyway, my favorite characters. Probably every single character with a name in FF6. :mark |

Minsc from Baldur's Gate (1 & 2) is the best RPG character ever. Incidentally, both Baldur's Gate games are the best RPGs ever.

While you're out grabbing budget PC games, pick up Planescape: Torment. The Nameless One is a darling, whether he's hitting on Zombies, kicking his pet Lim-Lim, or making fun of whores. Also, another vote for the Fallout series, though you're not missing much if you skip on Fallout Tactics. I've never had any love for a console RPG character, really, since most of them are grotesque and have underdeveloped "stories." |

Well, in Eartbound, there were only 4 characters. :/ But yeah, in FF6, there were a lot of events that required specific characters to be used at times. |
