I didn't mind the ship thing, but I wouldn't go out of my way to play it when I could just warp back to a world. It felt more tedious than anything. Lack of shops wasn't too bad. I really didn't mind that there was a "station" in which you'd go for an item shop, and accessory shop, and so on. The game wasn't designed for a need to have shops everywhere you went. It was a very interesting change. |

ROOKIE | The gummi ship actually bothers people more than the insignificant role shops play in this game?

The Gummi thing was a sidequest that I never really "got." I didn't go and hunt down all the differen blueprints, because I didn't know how and I didn't see it as a quest. Despite the "OMG I HATE N*SYNC OMG MORE LIKE N*STINK LOL" attitude most of us might have, Lance Bass did a really good job for the very brief moments Sephiroth speaks. He just taunts and calls out attacks from time to time. And it's heavily edited with effects and muted under the music and sound effects. So you really can't care too much. |

I liked the game. Im a Square fan, not really a Disney fan (BECAUSE THEY FUCKING RUINED ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS, ALICE IN WONDERLAND) And I really liked the game. I though it was the perfect mix of FF storyline and Disney cuteness. But I have two problems with the game. 1 being the Gummyship. I think that thing is annoying as hell. and 2, Sehparoth. Now don't get me wrong, I would let Sehp anally rape me, but my friend beat the game, and we were watching the credits to see who played the voices for the FF characters, and when we get to Sehp we see this, Sehparoth: Lance Bass GOD DAMN, SHIT, CRAP, ASS, PISS, FUCK A BABY!!!!! |

That guy is indeed one of the game's final bosses. The fight is quite similar to giant Ursula actually, but harder. And this is a hard game. I'm very skilled, and I died many times over. Bosses like Oogie Boogie, who comes in both normal and giant fucking house sizes, Malificent in her dragon form, and Hades shall hand your ass to you. The difficulty is similar to Megaman Network Transmission or Viewtiful Joe, and I'm talking about NORMAL. This game makes FFTA look like a walk in the park. A tip: Ars Arcanum is your best friend, trust me. |

Nerd | Y'know, you do fight a boss like that in the game. I'm not sure if it's the same one because I don't watch the show he comes from, but they look hella alike.

If they get rid of the faggyness of the first one, and put in a bad ass mother like this, it would kick. |

Sadly, you are right. Hopefully they will remedy that in Kingdom Hearts II. The Horned King rules all! |

ROOKIE | I have seen about a third of the Disney movies that appear in this game and I appreciated the memories it brought back, and the great atmosphere. I never got to finish it though.

Nerd | I was directing that post mostly to Dr.Boogie. If the game doesnt catch your interest, that's fine. I can relate to that. I mean, I'm a hardcore Square fan and I wouldnt play Chrono Trigger if you paid me. It just doesnt interest me.

I'm confused here. We were arguing and bitching? I didn't realize that more than one paragraph was considered a "page-long post." :/ I like the game. I think the game is great. I think the concept and delivery wouldn't have been any good if it hadn't had Disney as a part of it. If you don't like it, fine. But I feel you're cheating yourself if you don't even give it a chance. |

Krythor | Would any of you put it in your top 3 RPG's of all time? Because I have to wonder how an RPG can be so great and immersive when it's set in Disney Land; that must be a paradox.

Riiiiiiiiight....I was whining...okay, whatever you say. You did say that you were going to play it, I read that. I even replied to that post, if you look closely enough. But you were still slamming it, even without playing it. If your going to tear apart a game, at least play it first. Rongi, most video games have puzzles. What makes these puzzles so much more pointless than any other games? And from playing through it, there are barely any puzzles at all. You barely have to think to solve them. |
