Well, I'll give it a TRY because I am hardcore FF, but it's just sacriligious to me. And odds are I will feel very sacriligious if I enjoy it. |

I played beta on PS2 and I made a post about it before. Just recently had to send the beta HDD back. Anyway, it was cool. There is kind of a story but it is like most online rpgs, you get quests. The thing is you do get somewhat a continuing saga from the main quests. With real-time cutscenes and stuff. I'm waiting to get it on PS2 version... not sure why they are so slack, they took beta away already. |

The game may be online. but there is still a story that you can progress through like any other FF game. Just because you play with other people doesn't destroy the core of the series. A friend of mine has it, and she's in love with it. I'm planning on getting it for the PS2 when it comes out. |

From what I hear, it's online only. That's kinda shitting on the spirit of Final Fantasy in the first place. Let Everquest have the Online RPG netnerds. And fuck this game for ever being planned this way. |

Final Fantasy XI First off, I didn't see any other posts about this. I was just wondering if anyone has played this yet, and if so, if it's any good. I'm thinking of picking it up, but I just want to know if it's worth it. |
