If it makes you feel any better, I thought it was funny too! We never should've let that country go, so we're gonna take it back! |

Yeah, I saw that. Boy, I hope he graces us with lots more of those. I just can't get enough of the old "farting in bathtubs" schtick. Pure comedy genius. I'll bet Jixby lays awake at night trying to come up with something better. ________ WWW.VAPORITE.NET |

I hate it when I think I say something funny, and the only person who remarks on it is a worthless yeast infection like Fartin Mowler. What a toolbox. ________ Mmj Vaporizer |

Cinstitution, schmonsitution. We're the USA and we're #1. Combat Force Headed to Philippines (NY Times) - The United States will send more than 1,700 troops to the Philippines in the next few weeks to fight Muslim extremists in the southern part of the country, opening a new front in the campaign against terrorism, Pentagon officials said today. The first troops are to be deployed within days. Unlike a six-month mission last year that involved 1,300 American troops, it will not limit United States forces to an advisory role allowing them to fire only in self-defense, military officials said.[/u] |

El Blanco | We've had advisors there for years. According to their consitution, we aren't allowed to fight there. This doesn't prevent us from tarining them and giving them support staff (medics, administrators, engineers, etc). | |

American troops were sent recently to the Philippines, whose armed forces depend on United States aid. Carlos H. Conde (NYT) The whole world needs depends undergarments and the United States has the only factory that makes them. |

COMBAT TROOPS TO THE PHILLIPINES I think I mentioned on the old boards that where the US sends military 'advisors' to a country, combat troupes follow. Today we are sending more than a thousand combat troupes to the Philipines, were they will engage terrorist groups or revolutionaries, depending on which band of organized killers you side with. I know we have Military Advisors in Columbia, I'm not sure if we have them anywhere else yet. It will be interesting to see if inserting combat trouopes into another country is processed by the news media as A.) Business as usual, which it most certainly is not. B.) Part of the legitimate 'war on terrorism', and worthy of close scrutiny as this would be the first step outside of Afghanistan into a much larger arena C.) A distraction from more noteworthy stories such as Iraq and Michael Jackson's next chemical peel. |
