ziggytrix my friend beat sands of time in two nights.

but playing pop1 after he unlocked it was really cool. the save codes kinda suck tho, cuz you have to back out to the main menu if you want to reset your timer along with the level. tho, IIRC the original game was like that too... geeze how a decade can fog the brain!

Anonymous I hated PoP 3D, but 1 and especially 2 ruled.

Played Sands of Time for like 2 minutes at a Gamestop. Maybe i'll rent it for the box :<

executioneer I kind of like the main character and the storyline :-X but I bet that's because I'm a gay or something

Rongi The main character does look like another fucking pathetic carbon copy character. But that game looks awesome. I've been meaning to play the original Prince Of Persia games.

soundtest I watched my friend play this. The main character looks like a fucking useless cunt but besides that it looks totally decent. I thought the wall walking looked fun.

executioneer You can reverse time for (usually) ten seconds, and it uses up one "sand tank" each time. There aren't any restrictions on where you can use it, but there's certain things that make the timer reset (usually getting more sand), and you have to let the timer charge up after you do them.

I love to die on purpose in an impressive way and then undo it so that it never happened

James Yeah, you can only control time for certain periods, and it's only something you can do at certain areas, from what I saw.

BlueOatmeal I'm sure it has like a hourglass thing like the bullettime meter in Max Payne.
Nov 30th, 2003 03:39 PM
Cap'n Crunch I don't like games where you control time and stuff. Can't you just stop time and go through the whole thing?
Nov 30th, 2003 04:31 AM
James I played the demo. It's good, but fighting seems a tad confusing (when/how to finish of the enemies), and the control setup takes some getting used to.

It's a decent game, though. Worth a rental.

BlueOatmeal I really want to play this game sooooo bad. Since I just bought DoA3 and DoA:X I can now move on to other games!

liquidstatik I havent played it yet. But I was wandering, how does the controlling time tie in with the game/story? :/
