The One and Only... |
The line I posted has to do with your reply to something I wrote. I was writing about how capitalism worked so well for X country, and you replied that just because it worked for X country does not mean that it will work so well for others. My responce was pointing out that you focus almost exclusively on whatever good came from the SU without looking at the other communist countries - essentially what you accused me of doing, only I had a lot more support. I understand some basic Marxist principles, but sometimes I wonder if you do. Think about it. If Marx intended for inequality to continue, as you claim, why is there a lack of ownership of property? What is the advantage of communism over capitalism, since the one comes to unequal ends much more efficiently? Who decides how to distribute these products, and how do they calculate the proper measurement? These are all questions I have. |

Sorry T, but I don't think I want to argue any more. At least until you differentiate between Socialism and Communism, read some basic marxist writings, and tell me what this means: Quote:
And they say you aren't Vince. |

Debate Topic: Communism Since Zhukov and I have carried this on throughout several threads, I say we continue the debate in this one to make it easier and to prevent the derailing of thread topics. Z, respond to my post in the "Conservatives are so greedy" thread, and I'll respond to your post in the "Why we defended the USSR" thread. |
