No snow here in Florida  But no friends either  I just moved down here this week from Chicago. Feels strange being outside in December in a t-shirt and sunglasses to me. But I have a pool And a lonely, lonely house Spring break at my place. |

I am too old for fun. A huge snow storm for me means hours of backbreaking shoveling so I can get to work and squeeze my crushed dreams for a little more green. I kid of course. Bitterness IS fun. When I was a lad your age, I used to cross country ski almost every day there was snow on the ground. I currently do not even own a pair of skis. When my children are a little older, I will teach them and in a foolhardy attempt to recapture my childhood break an ankle and freeze to death less than a mile out on a pre-cut trail. |
