Sethomas I was just browsing the book forum archives and thought I'd add that having finished this book long ago, this is one of the greatest history texts out there. Tuchman brings the 1300s to life and makes the journey through her pages a true pleasure. I'm bound to read this book again someday. UNLESS I'M DEAD

mburbank This book totally rocks. Read it while on tour around 1989, I think.

Good book so far. Very easy to read, captures attention well. Makes me smile.
