All right, call me a dumbass but how do I upload an image? I'm trying to take advantage of liquidstatik's generous offer. I've followed the link but see nothing I recognize as a "script" or anything about uploading avatars, images, etc. I've dutifully explored the links that seem likely to me, and done searches based on keywords like "upload image" with no luck. Some non-enflamed advice/hints would be welcome at this point. I really like all the cool animated pictures folks here have, and the sigs are interesting too. I'd like to learn how you all do this so I can shamelessly copy your example. Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. |

| Emu | Some newer Paint programs let you save in the .gif format, but it's usually pretty shitty looking. Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro also save in .gif. | ||

That sounds cool. Uh, but now I've got a problem....it slapped me in the face with a big sack o' text that's giving me the impression somethin's up. Here are some key bits: - opendir(/home/g33kdne/public_html/whoreable/uploads): failed to open dir: No such file or directory - supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource...on line 4 - expects parameter 1 to be array, null given...on line 8 - Invalid argument supplied for foreach - Unable to move '/tmp/phpUi7iIo' to '/home/g33kdne/www/whoreable/uploads/Buckshot.jpg' - failed to open stream: No such file or directory I'm intimidated by the computerspeak! What's going on? |

Oh well, I still have the Invisionpower Personal Photo Upload thing.  But Geocities sometimes shows a red x, so my sig doesn't show up as often as I'd like it to.
