UtterParadox Screw Veggie Tales. I hate Christian propanganda, even more so when it's aimed at children.

That reminds me, Jack Chick is doing a series of Chick Tracts for kids. Damn it.

mburbank Hairbrush song is the best.

This thread is strictly about veggie tales.

Veggie tales is mostly about bible stuff, but is not sacharine or preachy, it's just intro theology for kids. The songwritting is friggin' high sterical and the voicework is class A comedy.

"I got to tell you somethin'... I ain't got no bellybutton"
is almost as good as the hairbrush song

in their take on Daniel in the Lions Den, the kings advisors, plotting against Daniel sing

"we could use him as a footstool
or a table to play scrabble on
or tie him up and beat him up
and thro him out of Babylon."

Royal Tenenbaum "Sorry. Never watched Punk'd and I avoid MTV at all costs. "

Comrade Rocket I had a teacher who had huge veggie tails posters on his windows. I would sit in class and have the weirdest feeling that someone was watching me...then i would look over and a giant cucumber would be watching me.

so never watching it i can conclude that its about pirates.

Rongi Quit ruining Max's vegie tale thread, you stupids.

It's not slow. Your sense of humour has been weened on Punk'd and MTV. Royal Tenenbaums has something funny happening in it every scene, except for maybe one or two. It's hysterical, and fast paced. For the amount of stuff they got into a 100 minute film, it's brimming with life.

liquidstatik When I went to day care, a long times ago, they made us watch veggie tales all the time. :o

Immortal Goat Shut up. You're named after the main character in one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Jan 15th, 2004 10:13 PM
Royal Tenenbaum I don't think anyone would have noticed.
