1.) Like W. digging on Ricky Martin singing "She Bangs" at the innaugural, like Gore dancing the Macerena, Like Nancy Reagan sitting on Mr. T's lap, there are few things more repulsive than a Pol trying desperately to latch onto Pop culture. They should never do it unless it's something they actually are in touch with. When Willie Nelson sang for Carter there wasn't that urge to shudder. 2.) I'm not sure this rises even to the level of a message board post. |

Al Franken + Dennis Kucinich thread 1) Has anyone else here heard the Dennis Kucinich rap? HOLY SHIT!!! Talk about hilarious! I was watching some conference on C-SPAN with the Democratic candidates. When they called Kucinich up, they played his rap song. That had to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard. I mean it. If you thought that the Dean speech was bad, you have to see this. 2) Al Franken was in a debate about bias in the media on C-SPAN. The debate was okay, but Franken's mannerisms remind me of my uncle. That's almost as unsettling as Burbank's picture. |
