mew barios well it did nu have a sound chip at all, an used the main processor for everythin. what i don't understand is how someone created some revolutionary(!) n64 emulator when the system was still in it's prime, then suddenly dropped it, and after all these years there's still no emulator that runs more than like, 20 specific games.

i guess no one much gives a crap :/

Ninjavenom Mew tells me that n64 sound emulation is senselessly complicated because it had some sort of fancy sound processor or something, so i have to rely on OSTs and dedicated fansites, it seems. Doh.

why the hell would you want to do that?

Perndog A quick snoop of emulation sites tells me no, there is no file format for N64 music and thus no easy source of rips...I expect someone will get around to it sooner or later, but until then Kazaa is probably your best bet (unless you want to buy soundtracks on CD).

Ninjavenom Yes! that would be most excellent for me. Or something so i could do it myself. I'm not sure if people have ripped the games that i want stuff for.

N64 Music

I'm having trouble obtaining the music from N64 games in any sort of format that's not MP3. Is it all in WAV like the Zelda games i found, or what? There are some games i'd really like the tracks from, but they're hard to come by on soulseek. Can anyone help?

ps. I can already see you're all preparing to write "Tough shit, dummy!" and "No dice, cheater!"
