AChimp Listen to the noob.

PS: Dust doesn't make your computer go slow.

mouthofmak How long has it been since you last defragged your hard drive cuz if your hard drive is badly fragmented, it will slow down any copying, renaming, and anything else that has to do with files.

If it is still slow after defragging the hard drive then you might have to reinstall windows .

Sometimes when i go to put a file into a folder from the internet (have to drag and drop because mshthml.dll is bastardizing my ability to right-click) windows takes five or six seconds to show it up in the folder. And then when i go to rename it, it takes another six or seven just to let me type in what i want to change it to. I know it can't be a RAM issue, i just put in two new 128s to have 320. I tried turning off Soulseek and Winamp (the only things that take up any major memory) and it still acts afool. Retsarting doesn't help, and i already blew out all the dust in my fans, drives, power source, etc. So why does it keep being gay?
