mburbank I agree. It's all the poor bastard has to run on, and it's not pretty. Particularly the aircrft carier stunt. And th ads. And the convention in NYC. And the non existant WMD.

If W. looses, it will be because of 9/11.

Or more precisely, the way he handled it, and then betting the farm on it.

Ronnie Raygun "It's kinda pathetic when the the best thing to happen to your presidency is the death of hundreds of citizens." - Stabby

You moron.

It's the worst thing that could have happened. It's the main reason the economy took longer to recover from the Clinton recession. If not for that Bush would have gotten credit for an economic recovery.......which wouldn't be fair other than the fact that he passed tax cuts which spurs economic growth.

Yes. Long term....9/11 hurt Bush.

Short term....9/11 helped Bush.

9/11 Images Said Inappropriate by Voters

By WILL LESTER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Undecided voters, by a 2-1 margin, feel it was inappropriate for President Bush's re-election campaign to use images from the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in a television commercial, according to a poll released Friday.
