I know the BBC TV series took some stupid liberties, & had awful production values, but their Marvin is to my mind the quintessential Manic-Depressive Droid.  It even had lights for eyes.

I hope they give him some sort of paint job, and if they don't put lights in his eyes I'm setting off a nuclear weapon at Disney's studios. |
