Still, it is a fun, old school, style game. Just need to add a chainsaw, heh. Supafly, my avatar is from a Musical about Cannibals. No fire at all. |

if i ever knew how to use flash, i might. but ill stick to game maker for now im in the process now in designing a new, better house for the game, which would take away the 'stay in one place and blaze away' syndrome which was mentioned. also, try and get past wave 7 for a special bonus. edit: oh, that special enemy is supposed to be jason voorhees, i forget where i got the sprite, in an eariler version, he was a bit faster, but he was nearly guarenteed to get you, It was truely terrifing , but you pretty much lost a life everytime he appeared so i made him a bit easier, but now hes too easy, so i have to put him up a peg or two. |

phnompehn | If you want to improve it, I'd have to suggest making it all flash. The graphics would be much easier to deal with, and people wouldn't have to download it. |

Nice idea for a game, I think this would be really good, if you would work on it some more. You could just let the player hold the ctrl button, instead of tapping it like a madman. I'm sure that would enhance the game. The shotgun fires a bit too fast, but I don't think anybody would last more than three rounds with a gun that shoots bullets every two seconds. C4's were a good idea , but I noticed a bug with them. On the second round , I had the first right barricade broken , so I put a bomb behind the barricade in the first basement floor. The zombies eventually got through the barricade, exploded on the bomb, and the whole left wave of zombies(who still weren't past the first left barricade) exploded. Oh, and I liked that 'special' enemy (it looked like Megaman with a hocckey mask), which could only be killed with a bomb. |

the link actualy worked? yay! i tried to compensate for the long hallway thing, but i feel that if the player wants to do that, fine, its hard to tap crtl a million times a second in the harder waves. im actualy looking into how i cam improve the game (gameplay wise) so i need to get feedback plus, you may have noticed the random 'gravestone quotes' there is six in all, all related to death in some way, any suggestions for more? |

Concept is good, but you need to add more of a delay on ammo firing. I held out 3 waves just camped in that last long hallway. Hitting ctrl as fast as I could, and jumpin down to get more ammo. Got down, and back up before all my rounds disappeared from off the screen. I could of held out until my arm fell off. |

Hmm, very interesting concept. The zombies spawn a little too fast in the beginning. Fits well with the recent zombie movies, though. What did you use to make this? Java? [edit] Oh, it's not Java. It's Gamemaker... whatever that is... Come to think of it, I had a dream just like this last night. There were these red laser walls that would kill anyone with a zombie virus if they walked through. This just made remember that. Wierd. |

Zombie game i made Hey y'all, i actually managed to start making a game, but even more remarkably, i managed to finish making it, rather than let it rot in my 'to do' folder. its a 2d shooter by the name: 'Mr Happy VS the Zombies (v1.0)', the object of the game is to hold out against 'waves' of zombies for as long as possible, using a shotgun, c4, and barricades. it weighs in at about 4.1mb, heres a link: edit: the first link may get a tripood error, so try the second one as well [bad link] remember to read the help file before playing (it helps surprizingly) http://www.gamemakergames.com/game_a...Zombies%20V1.0 mirror link http://dudefather.tripod.com/test.html [/bad link] yeah, i know its not great, but i wanted to make a simple game which i could actualy finish making. |
