I was at that show in St. Paul, and let me say it was worth waiting at a bus stop for an hour. These guys kick ass. Symphony X was pretty good too, even if the singer looks like Tom Arnold. ![]() |

re Blind Guardian is Metallica (in a good way) meets Tolkien. Rhapsody is like some lamer band meets a 12 year old's DnD campaign. I do like how Blind Guardian is a bit more self concious. I'm able to enjoy them without irony in most cases. I saw them live a year and a half ago in in St Paul. The place was kinda shitty - there was a pillar right in front of the stage but they brought the place down like true metal warriors. It was probably the most fun I've ever had at a concert. |
