Gather Round Kiddo's, its story time High school was filled with moments. But one I will always remember is the first time I had to deal with a bully. Now I had delt with bullies in the past, but that was Elementary School. I didn't know that there would be any in high school. The thought of it was just bizzare to me. Well anyways, This kid, who's name I never bothered to find out, decided I looked pretty fun to beat on. Punches till my arm was sore, ripping up my papers and just being a total jerkass to me. I couldn't think of anyway to get rid of this guy. He was like a parasite that lived off of causing me pain. This made me more than mad than I had been in awhile. This kid was acting like we were back in elemetary school and that he had to beat on me to prove something. I was forced to take drastic measures. After about a month of taking his abuse i woke up one morning to find out that there was a school shooting. Some kid took a few guns to school and waiting in the bathroom for people to walk by. The attitude at school that day was somewhat morbid. Many people were paranoid and others were cracking jokes. I was trying to go about my lunch like normal when the bully finally found where i was hanging out. I had been changing my hangout spots over and over and he would hunt me down. He came up too me and ripped apart the new keychain i had gotten off of my backpack. After a quick punch in the arm and a quick suffle of my papers, i decided he had gone too far. I instantlly went into a leaning postion in my seat. Leaning back in the chair i looked calm, almost cocky. "Look asshole," I said. It cut into him and he rasied his arm to punch me again. Before he could though i threw up my hand folded in the gun postion. Index finger extended and thumb up. He froze with arm in the air. I started talking again. "I would think twice if i was you, if you know what i mean." With that he dropped his fist and gave me a confused face. I pulled the trigger on my imagenary gun and the word, "Bang" escaped my lips. Thats when he found out what i was talking about. He instanly went pale. Without another word he turned around and left the library. I never saw him again. And when i did he would avoid my glare. I realized later that i could have gotten suspended or even expelled for doing that. But i never did, he never turned me in. And i guess the story got around, all the notoruis bullies at the school never came after me, even if they had the opertunity. I know it was a bad idea, but it established me as someone who wouldnt take crap from people, and that made sure i would have a good high school experience. |
